Try as I might I still can’t get myself into bed at 10 so I can read for an hour.  :(   Thanksfully I’ve found Uvula via Podcast Alley.  Originally when I downloaded it, it was so my son and I could listen to stories together while we played in the living room.  But Jax likes to sit in my lap and listen to ME read stories, so I began to listen to Uvula while I knitted in the afternoon and evening.  James Campanella reads stories written by L. Frank Baum and I have been fascinated by the ones I’ve listened to so far.

“The Sea Fairies” and “Sky Island” are my two favorites thusfar.  I couldn’t really get into “Queen Zixi of Ix”, but I think it’s because one of the podcasts that was downloaded was 4 minutes and cut out a large chunk of the story.  :(   Currently I’m finishing up “The Master Key” which is more sci-fi than the wonderful fantasy he is known for.  I’m thinking about having my husband listen to it because I’m sure he’ll enjoy it too.

I am now seriously considering getting an Audible account.  It would be much more handy for me to simply download the books and listen to them than to buy them and have them sit in my room.  :(
